Abstract

Cuando se trabaja en sistemas acuícolas es común tener problemas de sobrepoblación de crías en los estanques de cultivo (Paramo-Delgadillo, 1985). Aunado a este problema, se han identificado que en algunas especies de cultivo existen diferencias sustanciales en las tasas de crecimiento entre sexos. Para ello, se han generado diversos métodos que han permitido reducir considerablemente estos problemas.
